“ Very good fresh sushi. Took out of towners here and they all loved it. Sashimi were thick slices, miso soup was , service was sufficient. It was my daughter's bday so they automatically sent out Mochi ice cream. Because of this, I left them another cash tip separate from their built in 18% for large parties. It's the little detail that elevates the experience. ”
“ Sushi was decent, excellent service, nice location and atmosphere! We came as a group, Before heading out to a show and we all ordered different things on the menu and shared them! I wouldn't mind coming back! ”
“ The food is amazing and so are the staff. They make you feel at home or like family . The pictures on the wall are beautiful. ”
“ Sumo Sushi has always been a great place to go !! Consistently good sushi and helpful staff. Comfortable seating areas with booths and table areas, comfortable and inviting restaurant. It's my go to place when I want to stay local and enjoy good sushi !!! ”
“ Good for a quick lunch. Great value on the lunch bento. Lots of food for a fair price. Served edamame included to start. Also came with barley rice, green tea. Fast service and attentive staff. Not too busy so fairly quiet. Parking in the back so no hunting around. Would check it out again. ”
“ Very clean and pleasant restaurant with nice spacing between tables and booths.service was prompt and free edamame was served. I went with the bento lunch of miso soup, salad, beef teriyaki, tempura and rice. The miso soup was HOT and very tasty; perfect miso and dashi combo. It was a very big bowl with two small tofu cubes. I got full on the soup. Beef was cut just right but think next time I'l ask for the teriyaki sauce on the side and a bit more rice. The price was GREAT; total bill was $16!! ”
“ Best sushi restaurant in town Family friendly , great spot to grab a bite Service is quick & friendly ”
“ Amazing service and food! I called ahead for a party of 8 for my baby brother's 50th birthday! Yikes, if he's old then I'm older! The staff here bent over backwards to make his bday special! So attentive and kind, they even gave us free desserts at the end of dinner. A deep fried Mochi ice cream thing and green tea ice cream. We ended getting lots of Sapporos and bottles of wine. The good was delicious. My vegetarian friend enjoyed the vegetarian bento box. My folks got teriyaki beef and salmon Bento boxes. My brother and I ordered the 7 piece chefs choice nigiri plus a bunch of specialty rolls. We were there a while since everyone had got my brother presents which was super nice. We had the best time and will definitely return again and again. ”
“ We were the only ones on a weekday evening here! Prices were great and very affordable for pretty good sushi! We got one of the specials that came with 15 pieces of nigiri and 2 rolls, and shared an appetizer and a beer that all came out to ~$60 before tip which is super affordable for this area and the sushi quality seems pretty fresh. Ambiance wise, definitely isn't the fanciest place and our waiter forgot our beer and never came back to refill our waters so pretty average service. I'm curious to try their lunch and bento boxes though! ”
